Catherine Keener joins Day-Lewis for new film

Catherine Keener is to star opposite Daniel Day-Lewis in his new film Rose and the Snake.

The Adaptation star will play his love interest in the movie, which goes into production this summer.

The film sees Day-Lewis star as a dying, widowed father to a 16-year-old girl named Rose.

They live on an abandoned commune, where Rose has been largely sheltered from the world.
