Beckham's celebrate Brooklyn's birthday
Brooklyn Beckham today celebrated his fourth birthday with a special showing of the latest Disney film Treasure Planet for himself and a few friends.
In a relatively low-key affair by the Beckhams’ standards, a cinema was hired at Manchester’s Film Works for Brooklyn and his friends to see the space age retelling of Robert Louis Stephenson’s children’s classic Treasure Island.
Unlike in previous years, few of his father’s team-mates joined him for the celebration.
Midfielder Phil Neville and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer were seen arriving at the cinema with children in tow and clutching large gifts for their young host.
Inside, they joined David and Victoria Beckham, who had arrived earlier in a Range Rover by a side door, for the party.
David’s mother, Sandra, and Victoria’s father, Tony, also drove into the adjoining car park through another entrance to avoid waiting media.
Among the other guests were about 25 young children thought to be Brooklyn’s school friends and their mothers.
