Damon is shiner star in new movie

Matt Damon is sporting a black eye as a result of an incident on the set of Stuck On You, a comedy in which he and Greg Kinnear play Siamese twins who do not get along with each other.

Rumours are rife that Damon was hit during a fight scene but his spokeswoman said: “In one scene he gets sprayed with mace, so his eye was irritated.”

The film, from Dumb And Dumber filmmakers Peter and Bobby Farrelly, also features Jack Nicholson and Al Pacino in cameo roles while Cher plays a television star who works with the twins, one of whom is burning to get into showbusiness and drags the other along.

The Farrelly brothers insist that they do not intend to make fun of the disabled, although word has leaked out that they have been auditioning juvenile actors with exceptionally large ears for a part in the film.
