J-Lo teams up with Redford

Jennifer Lopez plans to play a down-on-her-luck single mother forced to move in with her estranged father-in-law played by Robert Redford in a new family drama.

Redford and Lopez are to star in the film An Unfinished Life, which begins shooting in April outside Vancouver.

The mother gradually reconciles with her father-in-law after moving in with him.

Redford recently shot The Clearing, a kidnapping thriller due out this year, with Helen Mirren and Willem Dafoe co-starring.

Lopez, who starred in this winter’s romantic hit Maid in Manhattan, has two movies coming out this year with fiance Ben Affleck, the mob romance Gigli and the family tale Jersey Girl.
