Rachel 'dumps moody Robbie'

Rock star Robbie Williams has been dumped by his girlfriend Rachel Hunter, it was reported today.

The millionaire singer was ditched by the model-turned-actress because she was no longer able to deal with his mood swings and paranoia, The Sun newspaper said.

Rachel – the ex-wife of ageing musician Rod Stewart – broke the news to Robbie on the eve of his 29th birthday.

A friend of Robbie’s told The Sun that the star was on anti-depressants, adding: “He is constantly fighting his own demons.

“It makes him a difficult person to be close to and Rachel couldn’t cope with it any more.”

Former Take That member Robbie signed an £80m (€120m) record deal with music giant EMI last year.

His romance with 33-year-old Rachel blossomed after they were introduced by friends in Los Angeles nine months ago.

A spokesman for Robbie declined to comment on the matter.
