Kidman considers Catwoman role

Nicole Kidman is being lined up to star as Catwoman in a spin-off of the Batman films, it was reported today.

The Oscar nominated actress has been offered the role as the feline loving gymnast who fights evil in her spare time.

She is waiting to read the final draft of the script before deciding if she will take the role, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Catwoman was originally introduced in the Batman comic book series before becoming a heroine in her own right.

She is a vulnerable woman running an animal-grooming business who transforms into a confident superhero ready to stop criminals.

Kidman, 35, starred as Dr Chase Meridian in 1995’s Batman Forever.
