Tickets for Rollercoaster Tour go on sale

Tickets for the Heineken Rollercoaster Tour gig in Cork next week have went on sale.

The Tour is headlined by Cork band the Frank and Walters, along with Woodstar and Turn.

Tickets for the gig at the Savoy Theatre are priced at €6 for students and €11 for non-students. The Rollercoaster gig will be held in the Savoy on Tuesday, February 11. Doors open at 9pm.

Now in its 10th year, the Rollercoaster Tour will travel to 12 venues

throughout Ireland during the month of February and early March. Run in

conjunction with the third level colleges the Tour is sure to be a sell -

attracting in excess of 22,000 students.

The three headline acts will be joined on stage by one of Ireland's most

renowned celebrities - Hector O'hEochagain from TG4 and Alan Kelly - the

2002 Found @ Thirst DJ of the Year. Hector has taken a break from his own

world tour to MC the 2003 Rollercoaster Tour. While, Alan has recently

returned from recording with Perfecto Records in London.
