Cruise star to divorce

TV singing star Jane McDonald has split from her husband after five years of marriage.

She separated from Danish businessman Henrik Brixen in June last year and they have now begun divorce proceedings.

McDonald, who shot to fame on TV docusoap The Cruise, said the split was due to work pressures.

The couple met on board ship and Brixen became the singer’s business manager.
