Claudia Schiffer due to give birth

Claudia Schiffer is due to give birth to her first child after being admitted to hospital for a Caesarian section.

She was admitted to the exclusive Portland Hospital in central London this morning for a planned delivery.

Husband, British film producer Matthew Vaughn, was by her side.

Schiffer's spokeswoman said: "She is having a planned Caesarian, and we expect to have some news this afternoon.
