Barrymore praises public support

Television entertainer Michael Barrymore today said the support of the public and help from Alcoholics Anonymous had kept him from descending into a “pit of depression” after the death of a man found in a swimming pool at his home.

Mr Barrymore, speaking in an interview with a local newspaper, said he was “just concentrating on trying to keep himself well”.
