Eminem lines up biggest UK shows
Controversial rapper Eminem has lined up his biggest UK shows to date with concerts in Milton Keynes and Glasgow this summer, it was announced today.
The star, who has won acclaim for his movie debut 8 Mile, follows in the footsteps of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne by playing Milton Keynes Bowl on June 21.
And the world’s biggest rapper visits Glasgow’s Hampden Park on June 24 to showcase his hits and tracks from his 13 million-plus selling album The Eminem Show.
His last British shows sparked controversy when he pretended to take pills on stage during a number of Arena shows in 2001.
Tickets for the shows – presented by BBC Radio 1 – go on sale on February 1.
* The Rolling Stones are to play a second date at the home of English rugby, Twickenham Stadium, after their initial gig proved to be a sell-out in just three hours.
The 60,000 capacity venue will host the band on August 23 and 24. Tickets for the second gig go on sale on January 31.
