Show goes on for Matthew Kelly
Matthew Kelly will honour a commitment to star in a play in Edinburgh, despite the child sex abuse allegations made against him.
The TV star will appear in an adaptation of John Steinbeck’s Of Mice And Men at the city’s King’s Theatre in March, despite being arrested and bailed last week.
John Stalker, chief executive and general manager of Festival City Theatres, which owns the King’s, said: “We are pleased that Matthew Kelly will appear as planned in Of Mice And Men and respect his wish to honour his work commitments despite the events of recent days.”
