A mysteriously long-lost luxury liner is discovered floating and deserted on the high seas.
Enter our brave 'explorers' bent on finding out what happened to this new Mary Celeste; and then, of course, there are all the sudden and frightening manifestations of little girls, bursts of music, mirrors reflecting past events.
I think we've been on this cruise before; and we have. There is nothing new, or even truly knuckle-chewing, about the film. It is blood-splattered to be sure but half-way through it we tend to lose interest.
One wonders why the usually excellent Byrne signed up for such a load of sinking - stinking - tripe.
