Crying Kelly hoping for more positive year
Kelly Osbourne is looking forward to a more positive year after “spending the last six months crying” for her mum Sharon who has been ill with colon cancer.
“Thank God she’s going to be OK but it’s just added to the pressure,” rocker Ozzy Osbourne’s daughter tells S, the Sunday Express magazine.
“It’s hard enough to grow up without a camera watching you do it and the rest of the world being in on it.”
The budding pop star is set to appear in the new series of reality show The Osbournes, which starts on MTV on February 5, in what will be a big month for the 18-year-old.
Her new single, ‘Shut Up’ is being released at the start of the month, closely followed by her debut album of the same name.
“There are all these opportunities coming my way,” she says. “We’re doing one more series and that’ll be it for me. We’ve had all this stress, with my mum being ill. I’ve spent the last six months crying all the time.”
But Kelly’s friends haven’t changed in this period. She has been close to Kimberly Stewart, Rod’s daughter, Elijah Blue, Cher’s son, and Nicky Richie, Lionel Richie’s daughter, for most of her life.
But the man in Kelly’s life is boyfriend Bert McCracken, who sings in punk band The Used.
