Zoe Ball and Fatboy Slim split

Zoe Ball is to split from her husband, DJ Norman Cook, after problems in their short marriage.

Her agent Vivienne Clore confirms the couple are separating amicably to give themselves "a bit of time and breathing space".

She says the welfare of their two-year-old son Woody is paramount and he is expected to spend time with both parents during the split.

She stresses the split did not mean a definite end to the three-and-a-half-year marriage and the couple are just needing time apart.

Zoe, 32, is at their family beach home in Brighton.

Her agent Ms Clore said: "They have split for now. It is very amicable and they just want a bit of time to have a bit of breathing space.

"Woody is much loved by both of them and his welfare is paramount."
