Keenan film making progress
Work is in progress on Blind Flight, the €4m story of the return to Ireland of Belfast-born teacher Brian Keenan, held prisoner in Beirut between l986 and l99l with English journalist John McCarthy.
The film, which stars Ian Hart and Linus Roache, is co-produced by Sally Hibbin, Ken Loach's producer, and is written and directed by Johnny Furse.
After the Belfast shoot the production is expected to move out to Glasgow, Dublin, Morocco and Lebanon.
