Diana Ross on drink-driving charges
Diana Ross has been arrested in Arizona on suspicion of drink-driving.
A breath test showed she had a blood-alcohol level of 0.20%, more than twice the legal driving limit of 0.08%.
Sgt Judy Altieri of Tuscon police says she was pulled over after someone alerted them to a swerving vehicle.
She added that the arresting officer said Ross was polite and co-operative.
Ross, 58, received misdemeanour citations for driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol content over 0.08, and extreme DUI - or having a blood-alcohol level greater than 0.15%.
Her initial court appearance is set for January 13.
Ross entered a drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre in May to deal with what her publicist, Paul Bloch, at the time said were personal issues.
