Jade Goody nets £1,000 an hour in panto

Big Brother's Jade Goody is reportedly earning more than £1,000 (€1,500) an hour in panto.

She is being paid £545 for each 30-minute appearance as wicked Queen Dumplena in Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs.

But producers at the Woodsville Hall theatre in Kent believe Jade is worth the expense, after helping break office records.

Producer John Spillers told The People: "She's very expensive but we've broken box-office records because of her."
