Family misfortunes as Les and Amanda split

TV beauty Amanda Holden and her comic actor husband Les Dennis said today their seven-year marriage is over.

The pair said it was an "amicable" split and declared that no one else was involved.

Their marriage was rocked nearly three years ago when Holden had a brief affair with Men Behaving Badly actor Neil Morrissey.

After spending time apart following the fling early in 2000, they tried to give their marriage a second try.
