Noel bans Christmas at home

Noel Gallagher has banned Christmas from his home, claiming he finds it the most depressing day of the year.

He says he will stay at home alone on December 25, after splitting up with girlfriend Sara MacDonald earlier this year.

The Oasis star adds that he will have no decorations or cards and will keep his curtains closed.

Noel told Sky News: "It's the first time I'm going to be on my own this Christmas and I'm really looking forward to not having any cards or decorations up.

"So I'll be in London, sat on my couch, arms folded, curtains drawn, having a drink."
