Gangs of New York nominated for award

Martin Scorsese's much-awaited Gangs of New York,starring Daniel Day-Lewis, Brendan Gleeson and Liam Neeson, is up for a major award - and it hasn't yet had its general release.

The story of the early 20th century battles between the Irish and Italians has been nominated for the Critics' Choice award by the Broadcast Film Critics Association.
