Wicklow Film Commission launch film trails

The Wicklow Film Commission has launched a series of film trails and an accompanying brochure to celebrate the cinematic success of the area.

The film trail celebrates several screen successes shot in the area including Widow's Peak, Michael Collins, This is My Father, Dancing at Lughnasa and Reign of Fire.

The drives also include locations for The Count of Monte Cristo, December and Yesterday's Children.

The Michael Collins trail takes in films such as Pierce Brosnan's Evelyn, A Love Divided, A Love Divided, Angela's Ashes and the TV series, Ballykissangel.
