Harris may star in Harry Potter - after his death

Richard Harris may still star in the third Harry Potter film after his death.

The makers are considering using digital technology to superimpose the late Irish acting legend's face over his stand-in, Harry Robinson for the Prisoner of Azkaban.

The technique was used for the Oscar-winning Gladiator when Oliver Reed died during its making.

Many hours of footage of Harris are currently being scanned to see if the idea is viable.
