Baz Luhrmann's latest project has opened in America.
The Moulin Rouge director received rapturous applause after the first performance of his new stage production of La Boheme on Broadway.
Among the guests at the opening night were Cameron Diaz, Harvey Keitel, Hugh Grant and Leonardo DiCaprio, who entered the theatre through a side door.
Tom Hank's wife, Rita Wilson, described the show as "Extraordinary! They'll be talking about this for the next five years".
"I don't think I've ever seen anything so well-received," she said. "It reminds me of the first time I saw Les Miserables - it's that revolutionary."
