Oasis' Liam faces police assault charge

Oasis singer Liam Gallagher faces a charge of assaulting a policeman following a brawl in a luxury Munich hotel where he lost two front teeth, German police said today.

The band was to resume its European tour tonight with Gallagher sporting facial injuries. Five of the Oasis entourage spent a night in the cells at Munich police headquarters and the band then cancelled last night’s concert in the city.
