Former Take That heart throb Mark Owen and comic Sue Perkins were today up for eviction from the Celebrity Big Brother house.
One of the two contestants faces the chop this evening from the reality TV show in the latest round of voting by the public.
Fellow housemate Melinda Messenger was treated to a recorded video message from her husband last night on their fourth wedding anniversary.
The former glamour model was overjoyed to see Wayne with their two young sons on the video clip, saying he missed her but was “really really proud” of her.
Sue was also treated to a personal message from her comic partner Mel Giedroyc after the housemates successfully completed an assault course in the garden.
Only two contestants were allowed to watch their messages because the housemates did not complete their latest task within four minutes.
Both TV host Les Dennis and ex-boy band star Mark Owen turned down the offer, saying it would probably upset them.
Sue has also poured her heart out in the diary room, revealing growing tensions between her and the other housemates.
“I don’t feel right with Melinda anymore and Les feels threatened by me,” she said.
Explaining why she cried under the duvet, she revealed she was upset because she felt “disenfranchised”.
She added: “Having a laugh in here is very difficult.”
Meanwhile Les told Big Brother he was “looking forward” to going home but revealed he was still determined to win the competition.
“I would not have missed it for the world,” he said. “I’m looking forward to going home, but I’m also savouring every moment in here.
“I very rarely win. I had a boxing match recently and I didn’t win. I’ve been nominated for things and I didn’t win. It would be nice to win something.”
The Channel 4 series is set to come to an end tomorrow
