Anthea Turner criticises new Celebrity Big Brother contestants

Anthea Turner says the new Celebrity Big Brother housemates are just doing it "for personal gain."

Turner says when she did the show last year it was in order to raise money for charity.

However, she believes this time around the housemates are doing it for themselves.

"They have different reasons for going in," she said.

"We were all committed to Comic Relief and had done lots of stuff for the charity before. This year they are looking for more personal gain. The charities involved do not have the same billing as the event itself."

Turner said she would never do Big Brother again because "being evicted was like the horrible feeling you get when someone you love dumps you, that's all I can compare it to."
