Queen guitarist and amateur astronomer Brian May was being awarded an honorary Doctorate of Science today.

Queen guitarist and amateur astronomer Brian May was being awarded an honorary Doctorate of Science today.

Although it is guitars rather than stars that May is now famous for, the founding member of the seminal rock group was an accomplished astronomy student at the Imperial College in London.
