Brosnan arrives for Bond premiere

The stars were out in force in London's West End tonight at the world premiere of secret agent James Bond's new movie, Die Another Day.

Navan-born Pierce Brosnan got one of the warmest cheers of the night from the thousands of fans who braved the wet and the wind to see the fashion and famous faces.

Brosnan attended with his wife - Keely Shaye Smith.

Brosnan's co-stars Halle Berry, in a black and white full-length gown, Rosamund Pike and John were all in attendance.

In the latest Bond offering, 007 is dispatched to South Korea to deal with a rogue military leader, Colonel Moon (Sun Yoon), but is unfortunately incarcerated behind bars for 14 months before being sent home in exchange for a terrorist.

Bond refuses to admit defeat and is soon back on the trail of the baddies with the help of glamorous assistants assassin-for-hire Jinx (Berry) and British agent Miranda Frost (Pike).
