Amelie star Audrey Tautou brought a ray of glamour to a rain-soaked Leicester Square at the opening of the London Film Festival.
Tautou dazzled the crowds outside the Odeon cinema when she arrived for the premiere of her new film, Dirty Pretty Things last night.
Stars including Woody Harrelson, Joseph Fiennes and Nick Moran braved the rain to attend the festival.
Gwyneth Paltrow was also on the guest list, but film fans were left disappointed when she failed to show.
The Shakespeare In Love actress is rumoured to be dating Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, and the pair were recently snapped leaving his north London home together.
But Tautou, 24, dressed in a delicate chiffon top and trousers, was on hand to supply the international glamour.
The French star plays a Turkish chambermaid in the film which follows the plight of illegal immigrants in the capital.
The London Film Festival, which runs until November 21, will showcase about 200 new films.
Highlights include 8 Mile, which stars Eminem in a film roughly based on his life, and The Quiet American, a Graham Greene thriller with Michael Caine.
