Mariah masterclass for Fame Acadamy students
Pop diva Mariah Carey shared her talents with students of TV’s Fame Academy as she gave them a musical masterclass.
The US star, who received a multi-million pound pay-off from EMI earlier this year after her album glitter bombed, gave an insight into harmonies.
Carey spent four hours at the school in north London which is being used for the BBC show.
She also teamed up with the students – who are bidding for pop glory and hoping to land a recording deal – using them to record backing vocals for a version of her new single Through The Rain.
A spokesman for Fame Academy said: “The students really enjoyed the visit and she was really nice to them. They learned a lot.”
Carey will also be seen performing on Friday’s BBC1 show.
