Penn and Allen to star in new film from Steve Bing

Sean Penn and Woody Allen are to star in a new film being directed by Steve Bing.

Why Men Shouldn't Marry will be the first film Bing has directed. He has previously worked as a producer.

Penn will play a man who becomes an anti-marriage guru after going through a painful divorce.

He finds himself in conflict with Max (Allen), who has been divorced many times but still believes that a marriage can be successful.

Allen and Penn previously worked together on Sweet And Lowdown which Allen directed.

Filming is due to begin in Los Angeles in August reports www.variety.com.
