Adam Sandler records songs for new film

Adam Sandler has recorded two songs with American singer Alison Krauss.

She is best known for being one of the performers on the soundtrack to Oh Brother Where Art Thou?

The pair have recorded the songs for the upcoming animated movie Adam Sandler's Eight Crazy Nights.

All the songs on the soundtrack were written and performed by Sandler, and help tell the story of Davey Stone, Sandler's cartoon alter-ego reports www.launch.com.

The film is due to be released next year.
