Mis-teeq turn on the style

Never wanting to go unnoticed, Mis-teeq arrive at the Q Awards 2002 in London, all smiles, a riot of colour and a mish-mash of patterning.

Usually glammed up in flesh-revealing hot pants, the R&B babes went for Bo-Ho chic in jeans and stilettos topped with a clashing array of fabrics.

Lead singer and writer Sabrina wore a tassled blue dress while baby of the band Su-Elise decided on a purple and yellow stripey number.

Rapper Alesha paired her red and yellow zig-zag cardigan with a purple streak in her gorgeous black hair.

Although they left empty-handed from this ceremony, the sexy supergroup are still glowing from the success of their platinum selling debut album Lickin’ on Both Sides and their Music of Black Origin Award for Best Garage Act 2002.

Among the winners at Q magazine’s annual bash, held at the Old Saatchi Gallery, were Radiohead who were named Best Act in the World Today and Electric Soft Parade who won Best New Act.
