Mike Leigh enjoys working with stars of new film
Mike Leigh says he was "constantly blown away" by the stars of his new film.
Timothy Spall and Lesley Manville lead the cast of the newly-released All Or Nothing.
Leigh says he found working with them a "constant revelation".
He said: "Both Tim and Lesley are actors of enormous versatility with a great sense of the real world and a great sense of compassion.
"One of the great privileges of being a film-maker is that when we're working on the film one is just constantly blown away by the extraordinary things that one has the privilege of being there in the room with.
"It's a constant revelation. I know I couldn't do that."
