Willis ready to die hard again

Action hero Bruce Willis is apparently getting ready to die even harder.

The star is set to reprise his role as reluctant detective John McClane in a fourth instalment of the Die Hard franchise.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, a deal is being drawn up between 20th Century Fox and Willis and his partner Arnold Rifkin's production company, Cheyenne Enterprises, for Die Hard 4.

The first Die Hard film was directed by John McTiernan and came out in 1988. It was followed by Die Hard 2 in 1990 which was made by director Renny Harlin.

The third Die Hard film, Die Hard With a Vengeance was released in 1995, directed by McTiernan and co-starring Samuel L Jackson.
