Atomic Kitten star Natasha Hamilton has revealed she demanded that hospital staff should put jazz tunes on the radio while she was in labour – to stop her hearing her own hits.

The new mother, who gave birth to baby Josh last month, said she could not face hearing one of the chart-topping group’s songs.

She told OK! magazine: “I yelled at them to put something like Jazz FM on as that way there’d be no chance of me hearing an Atomic Kitten track.

“That was the last thing I wanted to hear,” she added.

Hamilton, whose group were number one last month with a cover of Blondie’s The Tide Is High, had an emergency Caesarean delivery.

She and her partner Fran Cosgrave said they were both enjoying parenthood.

“I still can’t tell who he’s taking after, but he’s totally unique and gorgeous,” Hamilton told the magazine.
