Actresses Melanie Griffith and Penelope Cruz will launch the US branch of the SABERA Foundation in Los Angeles this Thursday.

Established in India by renowned Spanish singer Nacho Cano, the non-profit organisation aims to improve the lives of street children, and those of widows and women abandoned by their husbands.
