Dome to host New Year dance party
Clubbers are to take over the Millennium Dome in London for Europe’s biggest indoor dance party on New Year’s Eve, it was announced today.
Superclub Ministry of Sound will host a 15-hour marathon at the venue to see in 2003 with a troupe of circus performers, aerobatic displays and spectacular fireworks.
It will be the third time that Ministry has taken over the Dome. Past years have been sell-outs.
Around 50,000 people are expected to attend the event, which will have five themed areas and 50 DJs and MCs.
Ministry of Sound director Mark Rodol said: “In the last two years the Dome has been awe-inspiring. I can’t imagine anywhere I’d rather be this New Year’s Eve. At midnight the whole place will erupt.”
