Saucy offers for Emmerdale beauty

Emmerdale star Leah Bracknell says she receives plenty of saucy offers from real-life lesbians.

Says Leah, who plays bisexual vet, Zoe Tate: "You'd be surprised at some of the offers I've had over the years.

"What's nice about them is that they are nearly always phrased politely and sweetly."

Nearly always?

"One or two have been a bit saucier than I'd have wished for."

Meanwhile, Emmerdale producers would love to knock Coronation Street off its perch as ITV's leading soap.

But, thankfully, it's a show that doesn't treat its content too seriously. Summing up the over-the-top storylines that have become its trademark, John Whiston, the ITV executive directly responsible

for the show, says: "Emmerdale is still a tale of everyday country folk - and Zoe, a bisexual, schizophrenic vet, who doesn't know the identity of the father of her unborn child - soap's just bursting with that kind of everyday character, isn't it?!"
