Nice Guy But No Swooning

Coronation Street star Sally Lindsay, who plays barmaid Shelley, says friends of her were "dead jealous" when she got to do up close and personal in scenes with former Boyzone singer Keith Duffy.

Coronation Street star Sally Lindsay, who plays barmaid Shelley, says friends of her were "dead jealous" when she got to do up close and personal in scenes with former Boyzone singer Keith Duffy.

But Sally reveals that she wasn't bowled over by being in the presence of a former boy band heartthrob.

"Keith's a nice bloke, but I didn't have a crush on him when I was younger, or anything like that," says Sally. "Now if it had been John Taylor from Duran Duran making a guest appearance in Coronation Street, it would have been a different matter…."

Sally's character became more than a little pally with Keith's character,

Kieran's, during the Irishman's fleeting visit to Weatherfield this summer.
