Pop Idol's Rosie to release single

Pop Idol finalist Rosie Ribbons is to release her debut single later this month.

"Blink" will hit the shops on October 21.

It will be the first single from her album which will be released later in the year.

Rosie has spent her time since Pop Idol working on the album, and has written half of the tracks herself.

"It's a dream come true to have signed a deal and be releasing my first single," she says.

"I wanted to wait for the right time to release something, so I've taken my time. I'm really proud of the material I've recorded."
