Niles and Daphne's wedding puts Frasier on ratings high

More than 21 million viewers watched the first episode of the new series of Frasier in America.

The new series began with the wedding of Niles and Daphne.

It was the show's highest audience for more than two years.

However some critics described the show as "flat, almost tired," with "not enough laughs".

The new series will be seen in Ireland later in the year.
