Lara set for wild adventure

Oscar-winner Angelina Jolie is set for a “wildly ambitious journey” as Lara Croft in the sequel to the first movie.

Shooting on the Paramount Pictures’ film Lara Croft And The Cradle of Life: Tomb Raider 2 began recently on the Greek Island of Santorini.

The film, directed by Jan De Bont, will open in the States on July 25, 2003.

Producer Lloyd Levin says: “We’re raising the stakes significantly with the sequel, telling an edgier, more dangerous and exciting tale.

“Lara is taking us on a wildly ambitious journey this time and I’m especially looking forward to watching Angelina rise to the challenge.”
