Gere signs new movie role
Actor Richard Gere has reportedly signed on to new movie Without Apparent Motive for his next starring role.
Directed by Bille August, the picture is due to go into production this autumn in Los Angeles.
Without Apparent Motive tracks a Los Angeles County sheriff’s detective (played by Gere) as he seeks the murderer of three high-profile businessmen.
Gere, 53, will next be seen in the musical Chicago with Renee Zellweger and Catherine Zeta Jones.
He recently starred as a cheated husband in the thriller Unfaithful with Diane Lane and Oliver Martinez and in spooky film The Mothman Prophecies with Debra Messing.
