Paul McCartney to headline George Harrison tribute gig

Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are to headline a tribute concert for George Harrison at London's Royal Albert Hall.

They will be joined by Eric Clapton, Tom Petty, Ravi Shankar and members of the Monty Python cast for the gig on November 29.

It coincides with the first anniversary of the former Beatle's death from cancer.

The concert will be filmed for a TV special to air in early 2003. Tickets for the show go on sale on October 11.
