JK Rowling pregnant

Harry Potter author J K Rowling and her doctor husband are expecting their first child, it was confirmed tonight.

The millionaire writer, 37, who wed Dr Neil Murray, 31, nine months ago, is believed to be three months pregnant.

A spokeswoman said tonight: “J K Rowling and Dr Neil Murray are delighted to confirm that they are expecting a baby in the spring.”

The writer has a nine-year-old daughter, Jessica, from a previous marriage.
