Bjork's London flat burgled

Bjork's luxury flat in west London has been burgled.

The 36-year-old star, who is pregnant, is thought to have been asleep at the Maida Vale property at the time of the break-in.

Thieves are believed to have taken valuable recording equipment.

A spokeswoman for the singer refused to comment on the burglary, saying: "It's a private matter."

Six years ago Bjork was targeted by stalker Ricardo Lopez, who sent her an acid bomb in the post and later killed himself.
