Nirvana compilation 'out before Christmas'

Nirvana's 'greatest hits' compilation could be out by Christmas.

Courtney Love has reportedly claimed the collection will be simply called Nirvana.

Kurt Cobain's widow has apparently said relations with her late husband's former bandmates have improved.

Love has been involved in a lengthy legal battle with Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl over control of unpublished Nirvana material.

NME.COM reports Love revealed the news about the Nirvana compilation on a posting on the official Hole website www.holemusic.com.

The posting read: "There's a few details left but they are fine - everyone's fine no-one's being nasty anymore and it NOT greatest Hots its called Nirvana and it'll be out by Christmas."
