P Diddy orders women guests to wax their legs

P Diddy has ordered female guests at his post MTV Video Music Awards bash to wax their legs and have a manicure.

Men must have their hair cut and be clean shaven if they are to get into what he describes as "the greatest party of all time".

All the 1,500 people invited the event, which follows tonight's award ceremony in New York, have been instructed to wear top designer clothes.

Gucci, Versace and Sean-John Collection are among the garments he deems fit to be seen at his party.

Britney Spears, Mike Myers, Justin Timberlake and the Osbourne family are all expected to attend the party at Manhattan's exclusive Cipriani restaurant.

The super strict dress code on the invitation warns guests: "If your shoes are scuffed you're going to have a problem.

"If you're wearing jeans you're on the wrong track. Pull out the flyest shit in your closet, or have your stylist pull something on for you."

The invitation adds: "Remember, you have been selected. It's an honour to be part of history in the making."

But P Diddy, who is co-hosting the party with music producer Guy Oseary, will at least reward his guests for their efforts.

Goody bags handed out at the end will contain thousands of pounds worth of merchandise, including top of the range stereo speakers and designer clothes.
